Rainbow Kids
provides peer support groups for children, teens, and
their parents who are grieving a loss due to death, divorce,
separation, or abandonment. Prism is a 14-week peer support program for single parents, stepparents, and for parents whose children are enrolled in either Rainbows (elementary) or Spectrum (high school) support groups. Small groups are led by a trained adult facilitator who will guide participants through the use of journals and peer support discussions. These groups conveniently meet at the same time and location that their children's groups meet. The topics are identical in subject matter to the topics their children discuss.
